Just over 100 years ago, a beautifully situated soldier’s cottage at Björknäs was converted into a home for the foreman of the lumber transport to the coast. The proud steamer of Lake Revsundssjön, the Alma, stopped regularly at the jetty.

Today the venerable old manor house has been converted into a hotel, where you can relax, socialise and enjoy the fantastic countryside. The steamer has ben restored and in summer time takes people on relaxing trips around the lake, again stopping at Bjorknasgarden just as it allways used to.
